Navigate to any folder in Google Drive and instantly view its size — drill down to find exactly what's taking up space.
Install the extension, open Google Drive, and click the popup. No login, no API keys, no complicated configuration.
All calculations happen locally in your browser. We never collect, store, or transmit your Drive data anywhere.

The extension popup opens right inside Google Drive — minimal, clean, and informative.
The extension immediately begins scanning your Drive and displays a live "Calculating…" status while it processes your files.
Once done, the total size is displayed prominently in MB/GB. Switch folders and reopen to get the size of any specific folder.
If the Chrome Web Store is unavailable in your region, you can load the extension manually from the downloaded file.
Download the extension file (.zip or .crx) from the button below or from the GitHub releases page.
Extract the zip file to a folder on your computer (skip this step if you downloaded a .crx file).
Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions in the address bar.
Toggle Developer mode ON using the switch in the top-right corner of the extensions page.
Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted extension folder. The extension is now installed!
Pin the extension to your toolbar by clicking the puzzle icon 🧩 and pinning GDrive Folder Size.
